I’m a big fan of this style of animation – where the primary element is text. This video by Jarrett Heather is an exceptional example of how to do this well.

Excellent Sprint Now Commercial
Lets face it, most TV commercials pretty much suck. But, once in a while, one comes out that’s a real gem. This commercial for the Sprint Now Network is a perfect example. It’s extremely well done, and it actually made me laugh out loud when I saw it on TV tonight.
The commercial was produced by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, here in San Francisco. They’ve also built a pretty interesting website to go with the campaign.
Little Red Riding Hood re-told in Infographics
As part of a school project, Swedish designer, Tomas Nilsson, took on the task of reinterpreting Little Red Riding Hood. I think he did an awesome job. I especially like when the wolf evaluates the nutritional value of the grandma.

I can’t say I was actually able to read much of this, but it’s a very interesting style of typography in motion graphics. I enjoyed watching it.

Get Out and VOTE!
Obama ’08 – Vote For Hope from MC Yogi on Vimeo.
The current polls have Obama slightly ahead, but it’s going to be a close race. We need everyone to get out and vote tomorrow… even if the lines are long.
Please, we can’t have 4 more years of the same old crap. If you don’t vote, and Obama loses, I’m going to come to your house and pee on your door.
Not sure where to go, check out vote411.org to find out where to vote.
