Netscape has one month to live
Netscape will officially be discontinued on March 1st, 2008. I haven’t used Netscape in years, but there was a time when I was damn glad it was arround. After all, it was the only alternative out there to Internet Explorer. RIP Netscape. [LINK]
TSA to require ALL electronics to be placed in bins?
There’s an interesting post (and comments & links) over at Laughing Squid today. Scott Beale writes about his experience going through SFO this morning. He says everyone was required to remove ALL electronic devices from their carry-on bags, including cables etc. and place them in a separate bin. Is this a sneak peak of things to come? I hope not. xScope updated to 2.0!
Woohoo! One of my all time favorite tools, xScope, has finally been updated to 2.0. For a long time now I thought they had abandoned it. They’ve introduced lots of great new functionality. You can see screenshots and video on the site, or a complete list of changes on VersionTracker. A new license will run you $26.95. Registered users of 1.x get it for $10. xScope is a must have for anyone who designs on-screen content.
