Speedtest.net allows you to check you internet connection speed by pinging different servers around the world. I’ve seen other sites that do this, but this is definitely the coolest looking one.

This site is the best speed test site I have ever seen
It’s technology by a company called Ookla, and there’s something similar on http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest.
