As mentioned in a previous post, we’ve been in the process of looking for a dog. It’s been a little difficult, but today that search came to an end. :)
This little girl is the newest member of our family. She’s a one and a half year old Australian Shepherd / hound mix. At least, that’s what the nice folks down at the San Francisco SPCA think.
She doesn’t have a name yet, so if anyone has any suggestions…
UPDATE: There’s another image of her on my photoblog. I’m sure more will be coming.
UPDATE #2 (7.05.06): We finaly picked a name, it’s Maggie Moo. I personally voted for Itchy McMoo, but Anne Marie didn’t go for it. So far she’s turmed out to be a really wonderful dog.
Shep.
Name her Aussie or Lady.
so happy for you. she’s really cute! say hey to anne marie for me.
a name… maybe coraline?
did you mean caroline, matt? or coraline?
hmmm…joy?
she’s a beautiful dog, I’m really happy for you guys
Wow, she looks like quite a nice and lively dog, very cute too. I hope it all works out well with you and your new kid!
i think you should pick from aussie cities and other things australian. how about: “sheila”?
“alice springs”? “sydney”? “perth”? “fremantle” (or “free-o”, as they call it)? “matilda” (as in waltzing, which could be shortened to matty)? “uluru”? “kakadu”? “kookaburra”?
woof!
How cute is she?!?
After reading Dave’s comment I’m inclined to agree that “Alice” seems like a nice name for her.
mocha.
She is cute! And she looks like she’s going to be very lively too! I’m jealous – I want a dog!
I would name her Didg short for didgeridoo which is the australian musical instrument which women are not allowed to even touch let alone play.

Roscoe
No questions asked.
If not Roscoe then Shep as mentioned earlier(named after the Cash song of course)
How about Apple?
That is possibly the cutest dog ever.
Shelia…thats what I named my pet. You should too. We call her Sheels for short.
How about iSnoop?
