Are you a fan of Rocketboom? I am. I’ve always wondered where their theme song came from, so I decided to go looking for it.
The song is called Zoom A Little Zoom. It’s from an album called Space Songs. The album was part of a six-LP set of science-themed folk songs, called Singing Science, produced in the late 1950s / early 1960s by Hy Zaret (William Stirrat) and Lou Singer.
I not only found the song, but I found a site where you can download all of the songs from all 6 albums… for free. Another song called Beep, Beep, used by Rocketboom, is also part of the Space Songs set.
The internet is a wonderful thing.
