While there are times I very much appreciate the power of Apple’s Spotlight search technology, there are other times when I find it very annoying. Those are usually the times when I know for sure what I’m looking for isn’t contained in a PDF, or an email, or an iCal event… and I would prefer not to waste time looking through that stuff. This is where EasyFind, by Devon Technologies, really comes in handy. EasyFind is a much more versatile tool when it comes to searching. There are a variety of options and settings so you only spend time searching for what you want. Also, EasyFind doesn’t require your files to be indexed, like Spotlight, which can be a big plus.
