Another record month for one digital life! It’s a little geeky I know, but I think it’s exciting to see how the site grows each month. It’s been pretty steady since I launched it just over a year ago.
One thing that is starting to concern me though is my bandwidth. I used about 14GB last month. My Host gives my 40GB, so I’m OK for now, but at this rate it won’t be long before I start needing more. It seems to have gotten fairly popular for bloggers to host their images on Flickr to save bandwidth. I think I may give that a try.
If you use Flickr to host your blogs images… What do you think? Has it worked out well for you?
I had to scramble back in December when a link from Penny Arcade ran through my entire month’s worth of bandwidth in twelve hours. I took a cue from the webcomics and looked up PVP’s host, Speakeasy. They have an unlimited bandwidth package for about $25 a month. And excellent customer service. I’ve been with them since December and have recommended them to clients.
